Proverbs 10:22

“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and he added no sorrow to it.

God blessed Abraham and nothing could stop the blessing from manifesting in his life.  Just think Abraham left his country and family to go out to a place unknown, a place where only God would give the directions too. I’m sure the journey wasn’t easy and there were times when he could have turned and went back.  Hebrews 11:15 says “and truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned”.  Not only that, but sometime after he arrived in the land of Canaan there was famine in the land and because of the famine Abraham took his wife and his household and went to Egypt.  He left the place of promise and for fear of Sarah’s beauty, he lied to Pharaoh and said Sarah was his sister instead of his wife.

Through all this and more, the blessing was manifesting in Abraham’s life.  Hear what Abraham’s servant says about him in Genesis 24:35, “And the Lord hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great; and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses.” Through all the challenges and afflictions that Abraham went through none of it was able to stop the Blessing from manifesting in his life.  The Blessing was making his name great, multiplying him and making him rich.

What about Joseph?  He was hated by his brothers, sold into slavery, lied on by Potiphar’s wife and put into prison. Yet none of that could stop the Blessing from manifesting in his life.  Genesis 41:42-43 says “And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; and he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, bow the knee; and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.”  Through all the afflictions and challenges Joseph went through the Blessing was there making his name great, multiplying him and making him rich.

When things in your life seem to be going the opposite of what you know God has promised, and you are faced with afflictions and challenges remember you are blessed and nothing can stop the Blessing from manifesting.  Numbers 23:19 says “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent; hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good”?

Throughout the Bible we read of men and women who were blessed by God yet suffered afflictions, persecutions and faced challenges like everyone else in the world.  The difference between believers and the world is that we have the Blessing working on our behalf lifting us up, bringing us out, opening doors that are shut, and making ways out of no way.   There is nothing on earth or in hell that can stop the Blessing from manifesting in your life.   The Blessing is Jesus Christ.  He was unstoppable on earth, unstoppable in hell and He is unstoppable in your life.
