In St. John 6 we read the story of a little boy who gave up his lunch of five barley loaves and two fish to help feed a multitude of over five thousand.   We don’t know his name but he will be forever remember for his simple act of love.

I believe that the greatest thing we can do in life is give to others what God has given to us which is His love.  When we reach out to help those that are in need we are giving them the love of God.  Just think God’s love not only says I love you but God’s love supplies the need.  “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16.

Love needs to be expressed and helping someone else is an outlet for love to express itself.  And remember, no act of love is too small.  Each of us can do something.  The important thing is be available.  The opportunity to help someone will always present itself.  All you need to do is let the love flow.  Remember no act of love is too small. Like the little boy in St. John 6 when he gave what he had to Jesus, he saw Jesus bless it, brake it, and mulitplied it.  What he saw was a miracle.  My question to you today is in what ways are you expressing love?
