Psalm 133:1
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
Every parent want their children to love one another and dwell in peace. Our heavenly Father wants the same thing for his family. As a matter of fact Jesus said “this is my commandment that ye love one another, as I have loved you. When we love one another as he commands it releases a sweet aroma that lets the world know that we belong to him.
Jesus prays in John 17:21, “that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me and I in thee that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” To be one is to have no preference and no prejudice it’s to know that we have the same blood flowing through us, that’s the blood of Jesus, and that makes us family.
When we love one another as he loves us the world believes in Jesus. Therefore, love is the key to evangelism. How simple, to evangelize the world all we have to do is love one another.
However, in order for us to love one another as he loves us we must first see and receive his love for us. We must see how because of love he came into a world he created, suffered, bleed and died to paid a debt he didn’t owe and forgave us our sins all to bring peace back to his family.
For where there is peace there the blessing is released, even life for evermore (Psalm 133:3).
