Genesis 13:17
“Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.”
The imagination is a wonderful and powerful thing. God gave us imagination so that we can see the things that He has promised us.
Look at Abraham, he had not yet possessed the land but God told him to look out from from the place where he was north, south, east and west because everything that he saw would one day be his and his descendants (Gen. 13:14-15). When Abraham look out he could imagine the land filled with his descendants from the north, south east and west. What was yet to be seen in the natural could clearly be seen in Abraham minds.
When you imagine something in your mind it builds desire in you to possess what you see. The more you look at it the more you will desire it and scripture tells us that God will give us the desires of our heart (Psa. 37:4). Therefore, one of the major things the enemy comes to steal from us is our desire. If he can cause you not to desire something, than he has succeeded in stealing from you.
Don’t allow the enemy to steal your desire. Visit your dreams do as God told Abraham arise, don’t be lazy in your mind. Walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for the things you see are yours.
