St. Luke 21:2-3

“And He saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.  And He said, of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all.”

Will you trust God with your last?  This widow woman gave all that she had to Jesus even though she needed it herself.  How was she able to do what the rich could not?  It’s simple, she saw Jesus as being more to her than what she possessed.

The rich saw their riches as more therefore they were not willing to give all of it to Jesus.  Remember the rich young ruler, “Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, yet lackest thou one thing; sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.  And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful; for he was very rich” (Luke 18:22-23).   Why was he sorrowful?  He saw what he possessed as being more than Jesus.

Therefore, until you come to know, understand and believe that God gave us Jesus and in doing so He gave us everything that we would ever need in an unlimited supply you will continue to live off of your mite and not His might.

Philippians 4:19 says “But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”  God is not only able but He is willing to supply your every need and when you see that He is able and willing His supply will always super exceed your need.
